2012 - Change the Calendar!

Happy New Year, everybody!

And, as with New Year's past, I put together a new calendar for the missus. I kept with the "Chick Flick" theme, (just because I think chickens are funny!) and fired up the old PhotoShop, (and grey matter,) to serve up yet another eye-stinging squirt from the freshly squeezed lemon of my mind!

Enjoy!

Cheers! And have a great 2012!

The Exorchick

When I first put this blog together just this past New Year, I posted, among other things, my "Chick Flicks" calendar for 2009. Thanks to my iPhoto program, I was able to actually have this calendar made pretty easily.

Although all of those images can be seen here at "The Original White Meat Calendar," I decided to put October's image up again because a) it is staring at me every day in my kitchen, b) this picture kinda cracks me up, and c) I'm a lazy bastard and I got nothing else at the moment.

So menacing...

The "Original White Meat" calendar

So, every year, for Christmas, the missus gets a new calendar. It is usually the same one, the newest edition of "Piggies on Parade," or some such, with pictures of little pigs in costumes and captioned with a pun like "Days of Swine and Roses", "Pignocchio," or "Sows Pacific."
Real highbrow stuff, but she finds it cute. She also does not eat pork.

This got me thinking if there was a connection. I asked her, "If there was a chicken calendar, would you swear off chicken?" She said no, but the wheels were already turning.

I decided to Photoshop together a few chickens into a calendar for her, and, unlike those lazy-ass pig people, I thought a nice theme would tie it all together even better.

Here now is my "Chick" Flicks calendar, 2009.

This , then, is what comes from a vacation, an aversion to sleep, a Photoshop program, and poor impulse control.
